N moved into the Women’s Accommodation Service from a direct access hostel, which is where she was initially placed as she was homeless when she left prison. N is engaging with her support workers from Solo and other agencies and is appreciating the space that she has been given in the property.

N found the direct access hostel environment was not conducive of her recovery or her motivation to move forward positively. N has never sustained recovery for a long period of time before, but now she has entered our service, N feels this time it could be different because of the support and accommodation that has been made available. At an early stage N is already making positive decisions and change
