On behalf of Solo Housing I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported our very successful first Tractor Run on Sunday 24th April.
It was a glorious day for the run and we had a fantastic turnout of over 40 tractors in the cavalcade, which set off from Wortham Long Green, through Redgrave, Bressingham, Diss via St Nicholas Street and through the Market Place, through the Heywood ending their trip at The Fighting Cocks Winfarthing where everyone enjoyed a hog roast and refreshments.
The event was really well supported with people waving along the route.
Thanks to everyone’s support we raised £500 to support the vital work of Solo Housing supporting single people who need help with housing in South Norfolk and other parts of Norfolk and Suffolk.
Thank you to Denis Worby, Jerry Cotter, Norman & Tina Theobald for organising the event and to Fatstickman for supplying some excellent tractor banners and thank you to staff and supporters for all their help on the day.
We look forward to holding another Tractor run next year
