Solo Housing (East Anglia) Welcomes new Home Secretary, James Cleverly MP to Witness Impactful Community Initiatives

Solo Housing (East Anglia) is delighted to share the news of East Anglia’s representation at the highest levels of government, with the appointment of James Cleverly, Member of Parliament for Braintree in Essex, as the new Home Secretary.

This remarkable achievement should not only reflect the capability and dedication of our local representatives, but also present a unique opportunity to showcase vital work being done across East Anglia.

In light of this, we extend an open invitation to the Home Secretary to visit us and witness firsthand initiatives to combat homelessness and provide much needed support.

Why This Matters:

Having an East Anglian MP in the crucial role of Home Secretary is a source of pride for our community. It signifies a big voice advocating for the interests of our region and gives a unique opportunity to draw attention to the challenges faced by those struggling with homelessness.

At Solo Housing, we believe in the power of collaboration and the importance of having as many positive voices as possible join our mission to make a real difference in the lives of individuals. By extending this invitation, we want to promote a deeper understanding of the issues and work with the government to develop solutions for single people across a largely rural area.

Our Open Invitation:

We extend a warm and open invitation to James Cleverly MP and alongside this, to the new Housing Minister Lee Rowey MP, to visit Solo Housing at their earliest convenience.  Our doors are always open and we welcome the opportunity to showcase the transformative work we do working with partners, to provide stable housing and support to single individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

How You Can Support:

As part of our mission to make a positive difference, we encourage stakeholders, community members, supporters and well-wishers to share this news and express their support for the extended invitation to the Home Secretary and Housing Minister who we hope will bring stability in Government to the key areas of housing policy and approach to it.
